Job Requirements:

• MSc in Biology/ Biotechnology or equivalent – a must
• Deep familiarity with programing tools and terminology
• high level English a must
• Experience in Molecular Biology – an advantage
• Experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) – an advantage

Job Description:

Danyel Biotech combines dynamic and innovative technologies with vast experience in the Academia, Molecular Diagnostics, Healthcare and Biotechnology industries.
We are looking for an application support specialist for the Advanced Genomics Solution (AGS) team to help optimize processes and ensure that our users achieve their desired goals! To excel in this position, you will need a curious mind, ingenuity and strong problem solving skills.
The ideal candidate is an independent person that will support customer applications and provide professional consulting, assist sales department, training new labs and implementing new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Research, develop and calibrate a novel NGS library prep kit.
• Learn and develop new NGS technologies.
• Apply NGS technologies to new diagnostics applications.
• Plan and execute multidisciplinary experiments/projects and participate in the shift from development to final product, including regulation tasks.
• Contact customers (scientists/ hospitals/ genetics labs) to answer questions/needs and to discuss how Danyel Biotech can make their science better.
• Work both independently and as part of a team with the aim of growing Danyel Biotech to be a leader in the genomics field.

Job Requirements:

• MSc/PhD/Post Doctorate in biology/biotechnology
• Hands-on experience with Next Generation Sequencing
• Bioinformatics practice (NGS analysis tools) – an advantage
• High level of English
• Experience in diagnostics – an advantage
• Experience in scientific support – an advantage
